We express our unalloyed gratitude to God for successful take off of Vita Christi Catholic College Idimu. Though it has not been so easy but the grace of God has been abundant upon us. To God be the glory both now and forever.

1.     GRATITUDE TO GOD

We express our unalloyed gratitude to God for successful take off of Vita Christi Catholic College Idimu. Though it has not been so easy but the grace of God has been abundant upon us. To God be the glory both now and forever.

2.     ADMISSIONS

We recorded a total of 84 Students in the admission of 2021/2022 Academic Year. Though some students were admitted on trial, I appeal to parents of such students to assist them by getting home lesson teacher for them during the holidays so that they will be able to meet up with academic requirement of the school. Meanwhile 2022/2023 Academic Year Entrance admission forms are already on sale.

3.     SCHOOL HARVEST

We appreciate the contribution of Parents towards the success of the maiden school harvest. I thank specially the planning committee for good planning and commitment they showed which resulted to the success.

4.     CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT AND EXAMS

The adopted system of engaging the students through continuous assessments and exams were followed and will be adopted next term. In addition to this, students in external exam classes will have to be further engaged with evening lessons and extension classes so as to leave no stone unturned in their preparation for external exams. We observed that some students failed to submit their project assignment. It’s unfortunate that such students will have to score 0% in the mark allotted to the assignment. Parents should make sure current Project Assignments are done.

5.     BULLYING

We have established zero tolerance for bullying of students. Administrator’s office, teachers’ tables and opinion box are open to all students to report any attempt of bully.

6.     HEALTH

Due to frequent ill health recorded in first term, the school has taken proactive measure to test and treat concerned students. To ensure that more attention is given to students’ health, personal hygiene is encouraged. Also, we advise that parents should run a comprehensive health check and submit medical report of all students at resumption of second term.

7.     DRESS CODE AND HAIR STYLE

The school does not tolerate mutilation, shaping and adjustment of school uniforms. Hair patterns are also not allowed.

8.     CODE OF CONDUCT

We appeal to parents to join in instructing our students to be of good behavior both in school and outside school. We invited some parents to school to discuss some behavior exhibited by their children. We encourage that such parents should follow up during holidays.

9.     COLLECTION OF STUDENTS’ RESULTS

I observed that some parents are not interested in the result of their children. This is very bad. After the sacrifice of paying school fees, I think parents should be longing for the results.

10.  PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES

I want to remind parents that it is obligatory that all school fees are paid before 9th January as School will resume for Second Term on 9th January for Boarders and 10th January for Day Students. PTA Levy of #3,000.00 per student is included in the school fees. Attached to this newsletter is the reviewed school fees. Account number for school fees is FIDELITY BANK 5600699778 Vita Christi Catholic College Idimu.

11.  SECOND TERM RESUMPTION

Our School will resume for Second Term on Sunday 9th January for Boarders and 10th January for Day Students. Boarders should arrive at the school between 2pm and 5pm. Normally, there will be screening of students before they are allowed into the hostel.

12.  The school management and staff wish our dear students and esteemed parents happy Christmas and Prosperous New Year.

Thanks and be blessed
